Andy, thanks for the note.

In addition to all the good reasons for establishing these systems, and
being prepared for emergencies, it is important to understand what it
will take to build and maintain these systems.

Lauren Weinstein posted the following short warning about how easily our
current low-capacity SMS infrastructure could be overwhelmed during
emergencies.
