*RESEND* I see this was sent out on the list yesterday, but it didn't
come through for some reason (perhaps my subject line got caught by a
Spam filter!) We have 7 hours left to get only 20 donors to win today's
challenge (the leader right now is only at 17) so I hope 20 of us (I'm
going right now...) can donate before 3 PM Eastern!

Dear DDN Community,
The Causes Application on Facebook has launched a giving challenge where
the Cause with the most unique donors within each 24 hour period for the
next 47 days will win $1,000 each day. The top 10 causes with unique
donors will win $10,000, $25,000, or $50,000!
We would really appreciate your support as we are working towards a
facelift and new improvements to the DDN site. TakingITGlobal has been
donating our resources to support the DDN site but being able to get
matching funds in this quantity - even just the $1,000 award, would
really help us do more! We would love to be able to afford to hire a
full-time DDN Community manager and have more technical resources to
combat the spam problem :)
*** Timing is important ***
Today's leading cause already has a lot of momentum, so let's focus on
making donations to try and win the award tomorrow:
Please donate even just $10 to the DDN Cause between 3 PM Eastern
(GMT-5) today (Monday, December 17) and 3 PM Eastern (GMT-5) tomorrow
(Tuesday, December 18) to help us win the $1,000 award and be eligible
for a much larger award:

For the last few days, all of the winners have had under 100 donations,
so imagine - if only 100 of us donate, we can more than double the
impact of our donations!
If you are in the US, donations will receive a charitable receipt.
Donations will go to our US 501(c)(3), Global Youth Action Network,
which will provide the funds to TIG. Anyone from any country with a
credit card can donate!
Even if you're not able to donate, please join the DDN Cause to help
raise awareness!
Best Regards and Happy Holidays,
-- Michael
