[DDN] Ubuntu Labs/Linux Labs

Speaking of that.  We found that we were unable to install Ubuntu at 
a lab without swapping around the ram so that the install computers 
had 256k.  Ubuntu wouldn't install on 128k machines.  Someone 
suggested that this was due to the fact that we were installing using 
the GUI, but once the GUI is running, I don't understand why the 
underlying processes would be more intensive than running without the 
GUI.

Can anyone give any clarification?
