Dear Everyone,

Greetings and hope this email meets you in good
health.

Our organization Movement for the Promotion of Gender
Equality in Liberia (MOPGEL) had been working in exile
with the Liberian Refugees in Ghana at the Buduburam
Refugee Camp since 2004.

Liberian Refugees have been declared security threats
by their host country Ghana. This situation in Ghana
saw the deportation of some refugees and a six months
time frame starring 15 April has been announced for
the closure of the refugee camp.

For the past four years, we were able to train local
volunteers in information communication technologies
(ICT), fashion design, catering, and beauty care under
our training of trainers program intended for Liberia.

To successfully return our activities to Liberia, fund
raising, partnership, donation of equipment and
international volunteers are very much vital to this
task.

We are therefore seeking the support of
everyone. Please help and pass this information to
friends and
organizations that you think could be of help.

For cash donation, please donate to:
http://givemeaning.com/project/mopgel.

For donation of equipment and others please contact me
directly: htogba at mopgel.org, Please also contact: Dr.
Marshall Conley, founder, I Care About Africa (ICAA)
an NGO based in Canada.

Dr. Conley had for the past two years supported our
ICT, Medical and human rights projects. E-mail:
conley at conley-international.org.

We would very much appreciate your donation in:
Computers, laptops, digital cameras, sewing machines,
hairdressing equipment, medical and catering equipment

MOPGEL was formed working from the premise that
cultural and traditional practices denied girls and
women access to training and education--in this manner
curtailing their ability to improve livelihoods,
literacy, and to make a better quality of life for
themselves and their families.

The founders decided to form a non-governmental
organization in order to break the conspiracy of
silence surrounding discrimination against
women, children, disabled and youth to promote gender
equality, and at the same time empower these target
beneficiaries.

Please visit our website: www.mopgel.org

MOPGEL mission is to reduce discrimination and
violence through Education, Economic Empowerment and
Environmental programs.

For this reason, programs which emphasize
training, education, health care and development of
human resources are imperative, and this is where
MOPGEL aims to provide support and services.

To this end,MOPGEL is working towards the goal of
establishing and managing health clinics, academic
schools and vocational training centers throughout
Liberia.

We would very much appreciate whatever assistance you
could give us in our quest to return.

Sincerely yours,

Hisenburg Q.Togba
Founder/Executive Director
